Red II

The interpretation of the belt colors, which follows, is but one of many possible meanings.

The red 2 belt also signifies the intense heat from the sun that continues to burn inside the student. The intense heat completely fills the body with life's energy, a mixture of spirituality, mental awareness and physical strength. At this stage, the student must train for the first cycle of life, the beginning, again, becoming a BLACK belt. The red 2 belt also signifies higher rank; it has a BLACK stripe running along one half of the belt, length-wise, and at this stage in training, the wearer should be a certified teacher of the Martial Way. The red 2 belt is also a sign for the opponent to be careful of the wearer. Continue to exhibit flawless self-control, show mastery of "all" previous techniques, and show mastery of self-developed techniques, another step closer to the BLACK belt.
